The primary focus of this class will be what to expect and look for during a Fire Sprinkler Valve Acceptance test
Course Outline: This presentation will provide a description of acceptance testing on Wet, Dry, Pre-action, and Deluge systems, in addition we will review these key items.
- Understanding and interpreting the Contractors Materials and Test Report for Above Ground Piping and its importance.
- Hands on understanding of the basic components for each valve type and their purpose for the system type.
- Demonstrate at each of the valve stations what they would expect to see during a final and how each component needs to be tested and recorded in order to properly gain all the date to fill out the test report, as well as giving you the ability to hands on go through these motions with our valves.
Class will be limited to a maximum of 15 attendees.
ICC credit will be issued.
Special Instructions:
There will be a small amount of classroom time to start and then the remainder out in the shop. Dress should be appropriate duty uniform and duty boots to avoid wet feet.
