Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES)

Today’s codes and Standards, like the IBC Section 916, IFC Section 510, NFPA 1 Section 11.10, NFPA 1221 Section 9.6, NFPA 1225 Chapter 18, and UL2524, require all buildings to have approved radio coverage for emergency responders within the building based on the existing coverage levels of the public safety communication systems of the jurisdiction at the exterior of the building.

This training will cover the life cycle of an ERCES, from start to finish, including evaluating a building for First Responder Radio coverage and inspecting an ERCES.
